Poetry from Anonymous

Lost Half

How my heart longs for your touch
We could’ve tried a little harder
I didn’t want to lose too much
We should’ve went about this a little smarter

But when you left I was a disaster
You were always there when I was down
Used to make my heart beat a little faster
Now I just wear a frown

Wishing upon a star to be in your arms
I don’t want to lose you for good
This empty feeling is just an alarm
Wanting the best outcome, I knock on wood

Maybe there will be a future

This uncertainty is torture.
